Rose Ginsburg and Namibia Donadio from the Inheritance Theater Project lead the conversation about Hoboken + Water at the Hoboken Public Library, hosted by the Fund for a Better Waterfront.

Attendees provided their word or phrase in response to “Hoboken” including historic, evolving, street life, human scale, enclosed, community, walkable, neighborly etc. And in response to “water” including sailing, rising, connecting, escape, vital, brackish, awesome, etc.

This is just one of a series of community conversations that the Inheritance Theater Project (ITP) is conducting that will culminate in a performance at the Mile Square Theater this spring. ITP is seeking to bridge divides within the Hoboken community and tell the story of Hoboken’s intimate relationship and history with the Hudson River and threats posed by flooding.

Martin Andersen, Laurie Brongo and Ron Hine were among the many participants.
