Other Ways to Give:
- Make your donation to FBW via check. Make your check payable to Fund for a Better Waterfront. Then mail your donation to Fund for a Better Waterfront, P.O. Box 1965, Hoboken, NJ 07030.
- Ask if your employer will match your donation – some companies even match 2:1.
- Become an event sponsor. Our next big event is Connect the Waterfront on November 13, 2025. Click here for sponsorship details or contact carol@betterwaterfront.org to discuss.
- Give directly from your IRA. If you are over the age of 70½, tax-free IRA gifts are a powerful way to help FBW. For many supporters, they offer a huge financial benefit. IRA gifts reduce your future tax burden and can fulfill your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for this year. Contact your IRA custodian and follow their procedures to request a “Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).” Please also consult with your tax advisor.
- Donate stock/bonds/mutual funds directly to FBW. You may be able to avoid paying capital gains taxes and also receive a charitable donation deduction. Please consult with your tax advisor.
