Twenty-eight years ago, before any development had taken place at Hoboken’s riverfront, a plan for the waterfront was created under the direction of FBW. The centerpiece of this plan – a continuous, public park at the water’s edge – became the driving force that established the remarkable park at Hoboken’s South Waterfront (from Newark to Fourth Street) that has received both state and national awards.
Today, there is an opportunity to plan and develop waterfront parkland from Fourth Street to Maxwell Place Park, thus bringing the best qualities of the South Waterfront further north. Your support will help make this a reality, adding value to our community and potentially creating a model waterfront other communities will seek to emulate.
