Our free summer programming begins with #DiscoverYourWaterfront

We’re back on the waterfront with Resilience Adventures and the Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse for a morning of free fun for all ages on the beach at the Hoboken Cove.

We’ll start the morning at 9 AM with a service learning beach clean up (we don’t just pick up trash, but document & log what we find, helping to increase understanding of pollution in our waterways). Hands-on biodiversity activities begin at 9:30 and run all morning; free kayaking with the boathouse begins at 11 AM (and runs until 3); the morning will include local artist Ann Marshall’s art on the waterfront, creating murals of Hudson River wildlife; Ron Hine, FBW’s Executive Director, will provide an update on waterfront issues that morning, also at 11 AM. Plus, we’ll be leading tours throughout the day to see Hoboken’s own terns – beautiful migrating seabirds – nesting on the waterfront!

No need to register, just come on down to the Hoboken Cove on Sunday, June 16th between 9 a.m. to noon to join the fun!
