Today, we have a unique opportunity for the City of Hoboken to acquire the Union Dry Dock site – currently used to repair barges — for use as a public park. This would connect Castle Point to Maxwell Place Park, thus completing a critical link in what could eventually be a 1.5 mile contiguous park from the Hoboken Train Terminal to the Weehawken Cove.

But we must act now. Neighborhood residents, along with the Fund for a Better Waterfront, represent a powerful force that can make this happen. Please join us on March 8th to learn more. Your presence will send an important message to our elected leaders that connecting the waterfront park at Union Dry Dock is a rare opportunity that our city cannot afford to miss.
