Hoboken Hot House . 200 Monroe Street . Hoboken, NJ . Wednesday, June 14 . 7 pm to 8:30 pm

Join us for complimentary wine, beer & pizza, sign the petition & learn how you can transform the property at Union Dry Dock (currently for sale) into a new 3 acre public waterfront park.

The petition asks Hoboken’s Mayor & City Council to help secure the Union Dry Dock property at 901 Sinatra Drive in Hoboken as 3 acres of public parkland, finally connecting Maxwell Place Park to Castle Point Park and creating the largest addition to Hoboken’s string of waterfront parks since Maxwell Place Park was created in 2001.

We are now approaching the initial goal of 1,000. Help us get to 2,000 by July 4 deadline. The petition will be presented to the Mayor & Council the following day at the July 5 City Council meeting.

We have a unique opportunity to make the Union Dry Dock site – currently used to repair barges — a public waterfront park. But we must act now. The property, owned by Union Dry Dock & Repair Co. and consisting of 3.15 acres of land and 5.21 acres under water, is currently for sale. This is a rare opportunity our city can’t afford to miss.

FBW is available to speak to your organization or condo association to provide details and talk about how you can be part of this campaign. Contact us at fbw@betterwaterfront.org.
